Metro Shotgun Sports Team

Metro Shotgun Sports Team is a member of Scholastic Target Clay Program (SCTP).  

 

We are focused on providing opportunities for teens to explore and compete in shotgun shooting sports, and preparing those who want to shoot at the college-level.  We offer opportunities to learn and compete in the following events:

  • Trap

  • Skeet 

  • Sporting Clays

  • Double Trap

  • Double Skeet

We want shooting to be safe, fun, build confidence, create community, and be affordable.

Competition Information

2026 Competition Season:  March 1st - April 19th

​

Competitions are are held at locations in Eastern Nebraska, and include

  • Lincoln Trap & Skeet - Lincoln, NE

  • Harry A Koch - Omaha, NE

  • Oak Creek Sporting Club - Brainard, NE

  • Beade Outdoors - Syracuse, NE

Each competition allows you to choose what events you want to compete in.   We encourage you to try them all.  

​

Additional Opportunities:  

  • SCTP Regionals Competition (April 24th - 26th in Columbia, MO)

  • Cornhusker High School State Shoot: (April 30th - May 2nd in Doniphan, NE​​​)

  • SCTP NE State Competition (June 6th - 7th in Grand Island, NE)

  • SCTP Nationals Competition (July 11th  - July 19th in Marengo, OH)
